Cribs for Kids®
This safe-sleep program helps families reduce the risk of infant injury and death from unsafe sleeping conditions, including barriers like crib affordability and practices such as bed-sharing. The program began in Pittsburgh and became a North Dakota partner initiative in 2009.
Our nurses screen applicants. Eligible pregnant women and new mothers receive a kit containing a portable Pack n’ Play, a crib sheet, a pacifier, and a swaddle sack.
Assistive Medical Equipment
Subject to availability, we loan the following equipment:
- Walkers
- Stool risers
- Shower chairs and transfer benches
- Wheelchairs
- Canes
- Bedside commodes
- Crutches
- Bed rails
